Having identified a suitable crystal using in-situ diffraction, the crystal can then be extracted from the multi-well and mounted atop the Phi Axis.

The Phi Axis extends the PX Scanner from a 2-in-1 combined optical and in-situ X-ray system to a 3-in-1 system, allowing extended protein crystal screening and full data collection.
